Staffinder Web is designed for offices
that prefer a web application over a client/server application.
There are advantages of using web over a standard
client/server configuration. Web applications can be updated in
one location and everyone is instantly up to date. No need to
update many machines each time. Secondly if you have users on
the road or working from home they can get access to the application
via the web.
Got Mobile? Now Staffinder Web comes
with a mobile interface so you can use staffinder with your mobile
devices while your on the road. This is a separate
installation but is free with your purchase or subscription.
Requirements:
Staffinder Web can be run on any server running IIS 5+ and the
Microsoft .NET framework 2.0. Staffinder Web also requires SQL
Server on the back end. You may also use Microsoft's free
editions called MSDE (SQL 2000) or SQL
Express (SQL 2005). These free versions are available from
Microsoft and are simple to install. You
may need to manually change the SQL configuration to allow remote
connections if you install it on a different server than the web
server.
Staffinder Web 2.0 now supports other major
browsers such as IE6+, Firefox 3+, Safari, and Google Chrome 1.0
(New version 2.0 has bugs that prevent SF from working properly)

We have a play area setup on our hosted production server that will allow you
to create a login and get instant access to the program so you can see what
Staffinder Web has to offer. Others like you can come here to
play around an experiment with the various features in Staffinder. Below is a link to the login
screen where you can create your login and get access to the
program. There is a button at the bottom of the login screen
to create a new user. Just enter your name and a login id and
it will create one for you. You can then simply return here
each time you want to log in. Your password is set to your
first name by default. Once you log in you can change it.
If your serious about using Staffinder Web and
want to try it out in a live environment then just send us an email
with your request and we will get you setup with a 30 day trial on
our hosted server. If you find Staffinder meets your needs you
can simply subscribe to our service and continue to use Staffinder
as long as you like.

- Ability to set a global default security settings. This is handy for admins so you can preset your security model so each new person is automatically
setup.
- Load on Demand is now optional. You can toggle on or off the LOD feature.
This will cause the browser to load rows as you scroll and not load everything
at once. This reduces load times when you have a large number of employees
in your company.
- Browser Reset ability so if your browser columns get messed up you can reset
everything back to their defaults.
- New Drop Down menu style for clients using Internet Explorer
Staffinder is available in 2 deployment options...
- Direct Purchase: If you want to run Staffinder
on your network you will need to have SQL Server and a Web
server running IIS 6.0 +. This is a one time fee and you are free
to use Staffinder as long as you like. Your license allows
you to install Staffinder on one web server and includes an
unlimited number of users and connections. If you require
multiple web servers then you will need a license for each
server.
You also get a one year maintenance agreement with your purchase
so you will get all upgrades for one year.
Requirements: Staffinder Web requires a web server
running IIS 6.0 and the Microsoft .Net framework 1.1. Each
client will need to have IE 5.5 or newer on each client.
NOTE: SQL Server must be licensed separately from
Microsoft and is not included with your Staffinder License.
MSDE and SQL Express are free versions of SQL from Microsoft and
are sufficient to run Staffinder.
- Hosted: Our hosted service is a monthly fee
service and the application runs on our servers. You
simply need to have internet access within your company in order
to use the application. By using our hosted service you will
always get the latest version and will continue to for as long
as you use our service. We maintain all the hardware and
software so you don't have to worry about a thing. Check
