Staffinder Web is designed for offices
that prefer a web application over a client/server application.
There are advantages of using web over a standard
client/server configuration. Web applications can be updated in
one location and everyone is instantly up to date. No need to
update many machines each time. Secondly if you have users on
the road or working from home they can get access to the application
via the web.
Requirements:
Staffinder Web can be run on any server running IIS and the Microsoft .NET framework 1.1.
Staffinder Web also requires SQL Server on the back end. The
clients will require IE 5.5 or newer. Netscape 8.0 has the
ability to emulate IE and will therefore run Staffinder Web with no
problems.
Care to try it out?...
We have a play area setup on our hosted production server that will allow you
to create a login and get instant access to the program so you can see what
Staffinder Web has to offer. Others like you can come here to
play around an experiment with the various features in Staffinder. Below is a link to the login
screen where you can create your login and get access to the
program. There is a button at the bottom of the login screen
to create a new user. Just enter your name and a login id and
it will create one for you. You can then simply return here
each time you want to log in. Your password is set to your
first name by default. Once you log in you can change it.
If your serious about using Staffinder Web and
want to try it out in a live environment then just send us an email
with your request and we will get you setup with a 30 day trial on
our hosted server. If you find Staffinder meets your needs you
can simply subscribe to our service and continue to use Staffinder
as long as you like.
Staffinder Login
We will be offering Staffinder in 2 deployment options...
- Direct Purchase: If you want to run Staffinder
on your network you will need to have SQL Server and a Web
server running IIS. This is a one time fee and your free
to use Staffinder as long as you like. Your license allows
you to install Staffinder on one web server and includes an
unlimited number of users and connections. If you require
multiple web servers then you will need a license for each
server.
You also get a one year maintenance agreement with your purchase
so you will get all upgrades for one year.
Requirements: Staffinder Web requires a web server
running IIS and the Microsoft .Net framework 1.1. Each
client will need to have IE 5.5 or newer on each client.
NOTE: SQL Server must be licensed separately from
Microsoft and is not included with your Staffinder License.
- Hosted: Our hosted service is a monthly fee
service and the application runs on our servers. You
simply need to have internet access within your company in order
to use the application. By using our service you will
always have the latest version and will continue to for as long
as you use our service. We maintain all the hardware and
software so you don't have to worry about a thing. Check

Requirements: You do not need anything other
than an internet connection and IE 5.5 or newer on each client.
Take a look...
Here is a view of the main browser. It
supports right-click popup menus and toolbar icons for quick and easy
status changes. Full security is also available so you can
restrict who can make changes to others.
Here is a view of the Resource scheduler. It supports several different time increments.
Here is a view of the vacation scheduler.
Currently it will only support full day events. We will be
adding the ability to assign start and end times to allow intra day
events in a future release.
Here you can see that with a few changes to the style sheet you
can change the look and feel of the display.
